How often will I be paid?
Everyone is paid weekly.
Will I have to work holidays and weekends?
Yes. CEFCO stores are always open and store employees work weekends and holidays. Hourly employees receive extra pay on major holidays.
May I choose the store where I will work?
No. CEFCO will assign you to a store that has an open position that matches your abilities. However, CEFCO will try to assign you to a store that is reasonably close to your home.

How long until I am promoted?
It depends on the available positions and on your performance.
How will my performance be evaluated?
Your performance will be evaluted based on:

- cash and inventory accuracy

Will I get a meal break?
No. CEFCO employees master the art of eating on the run.
What is the dress code?
CEFCO does have a uniform shirt and slacks policy.
Store employees are not allowed to wear:
- beards
- visible tatoos
- body piercing
- tongue posts
- unnatural colored hair
- long hair on men
- open toe shoes
Do I have to take random drug tests?
Yes. All CEFCO employees are subject to random drug testing.
Is there a criminal background check?
Yes.
If I have a minor offense in my past, am I still eligible to be hired by
CEFCO?
It depends on the offense, how long ago it was, and how you've led your life since.
Does CEFCO do employment history background checks?
Yes. We have one of the most extensive background checks in the industry.
