CEFCO announces the newest members to the CEFCO family of stores

Fikes Wholesale, Inc. and CEFCO Convenience Stores are proud to introduce the newest members of our CEFCO C-store family.  On April 30th 2007 CEFCO will acquire a total of eight convenience stores located in the cities of Waco and West.  CEFCO currently has stores in the Waco area but this will be our first two locations in West and we are very excited to enter this community.

Six of the locations will offer Texaco branded fuel and two will offer Chevron branded fuel.  In addition, two stores will have a Car Wash and four will have a Fresh Eats deli.

CEFCO is honored to serve these communities and hope that we can fulfill the needs of its residents as well as those just passing through.

Clem Mikeska's Bar-B-Q Now Open In Cameron

As promised, here is the "skinny" on the fabulous Bar-B-Q shop that is now open in the CEFCO Convenience Store (Hilltop) in Cameron, 1005 East 1st Street.

Clem Mikeska’s full-serve restaurant opens at 6:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm, 7 days a week.  There is seating for well over 40 people so bring your friends.  But if you are in a hurry, you can get your food for “Take Out” or come though the convenient drive-through window.  The menu features Plate Lunches, Sandwiches and Family Pack servings of their wonderful, made from scratch Sirloin Bar-B-Q beef, extra lean beef, Clem’s sausage, pork ribs, turkey breasts, whole or half chicken and several other mouth-watering meats.  In addition, there are a slew of side orders and desserts to choose from.  Oh, and don’t forget the homemade bread!

This is the second Clem Mikeska restaurant, the original restaurant is located at 1217 South 57th in Temple.

So come on by, stop into the CEFCO Convenience Store to fill up your fuel tank then pull into Clem’s to fill up your tummy!

A New "Hilltop" Store Opens in Cameron

Although CEFCO had other filling stations, the first convenience store came along in 1979 when Fikes Wholesale purchased the "Hilltop" in Cameron, which was razed and rebuilt as CEFCO #3. The location is such a fixture in the community that folks inside and outside the company still refer to it as "Hilltop".

Well, 27 years later a new full-fledged Truck Stop and Convenience Store has been built on the same property adjacent to the old store. The new store offers the same great convenience products and new ones too, and is almost three times the size of the "old" store! There are sixteen fueling positions in front of the store offering three gasoline products (No-Lead, No-Lead Plus and V-Power 93 octane Premium) and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel.

In addition to the expanded c-store, the Truck Stop portion of the store offers many amenities. There are 5 high-flow diesel fueling positions and a trucker's lounge with a 50" plasma TV. The lounge also has a game room, several telephones & computer access stations and a DAT terminal so new loads can be easily located. Laundry and shower facilities are available too for those interested.

Coming in February 2007 will be a fantastic restaurant ... Clem Mikeska'a Bar-B-Q. More about the restaurant will be posted as we get closer to its opening.
